Merry Late Christmas Again!-what's the deal with me?!

Inspired by the 12 Days of Christmas (gifts) my family gave us last year, here’s our 12 Days of Christmas Letter!
Happy Taylor Family- 4 healthy children, lots of really great family & friends!
Year Old North-He’s spoiled, intense & the cutest Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde there is! As long as you have candy or cookies, he’ll be your best friend. He loves his blanket, smoothies, anything Star Wars-which is pretty surprising, animals, cars, dinosaurs & being outside. Be careful interacting with him- he may throw something at you or bite or hit you-awesome!
Broken Bones- Jonas broke both arms-2 bones in his right arm/1 bone in his left. First big snow, playing on our shed Sunday morning, tripped while trying to jump off & help Blue, did a flip or 2 or 3, crash landing .We didn’t make it to church that day. He just got his killer custom cast off-our artist friend drew General Grievous on it.
Year Old Blue-Mr. Bub is still going strong &will be 5 soon (in June) that’s soon enough for him. He’s a tiny guy but super tough! Obsessed with Star Wars & Legos, like always. He also loves to draw, going to the “real” beach, playing with his friends-mostly cousins!, being right next to mom,” playing” soccer, skiing, anything Jonas is doing.
Soccer teams! Are you kidding me? These were indoor teams in November & December. Just 2 months of that & now Blue is going to take a break from chatting it up on the field & waving to the crowd or as dad says pickin’ daisies, but he is the cutest daisy picker that soccer field has. Now we only drive to Lindon 4 times a week-not 5!
People playing-We are late to everything & going in all directions mainly because we have to play everyday! That’s the goal at least! It’s difficult being a grown up sometimes.
Family Trips -Moab, Lake Powell, Boulder twice in July & at Thanksgiving(visiting Lyd’s brother Mat and his fam), Uintas & California-the real beach. Lots of camping & a day at Disneyland & good times!
Year Old Jonas-Despite his broken arms he’s still a goal scoring machine & full of energy! He loves soccer, skiing, Star Wars, Legos, scouts, drawing & being outside! He was baptized this July in a pond near Mat’s farm in Boulder, Utah. He’s at a new school this year & took 2 minutes or so to make tons of friends! Don’t know where he gets that ! Super smart & sweet when he slows down for a second! Luckily N8 is a cutie since Jonas is his clone although Jonas wins on the best hair-EVER!
Sports last summer-5(or 6) soccer teams, 1 softball team, 1 baseball team, 2 kids in tennis lessons. Welcome to our new life! 3 of my soccer teams overlapped for a few weeks. N8’s outdoor team overlapped with MJ’s team-which he was co-coaching. We missed a few games- only because you really can’t be 2 places at once. I think we will wait another year or so to play baseball & softball again. At least our kids didn’t complain once about being bored!
Year Old MaryJo-What! No more single digits…sigh. Beautiful, smart, creative, soccer player, skiing black diamonds-N8 makes her but she can do it!, babysitter. She’s also going to a new school this year that we affectionately call smarty pants school! She loves it! They made salsa from their garden, require extra projects- perfect for Miss Recycle Messy MaJessy, & the toughest part of it are the field trips! Last week, N8 had to help her class go skiing at Sundance. MJ just got contacts-which was an eaiser choice than glasses since she still can’t find a frame she likes!? Maybe next year she’ll add cellist to her list of attributes since she wants one for Christmas-plus art stuff, Pumas & a kitten of course.
is such a cool number! Join us for our 11/11/11 party at 11:11 am & pm! (another once in a century date to celebrate this year: 9/10/11)
days late…and then some but at least we’re sending these out again!
years of marriage bliss for N8 and The Little Lady
